Capsule thingy: Day 14

My hair was in a weird mood today, so it's hiding. It's having a day like me. Just like me. I stood in front of my co-workers office, said some nonsense, and just stood there like "wait, what?" she said "are you having a Monday?" and laughed.

Except I'll eventually wake up. My hair just needs to be forced into submission. No closeup pic, but the side has a small-ish braid which lead back to the low braided bun. My overgrown undercut is sticking out and my boss-boss (that's my bloggoterm for the highest up boss in my direct office) thought that I chopped off all of my hair.

Day 14: Gray skinny trousers, black thin knit sweater, black flats.

We've had two weeks of outfits and I've worn this outfit (or one remarkably like it) four times! (Days 1, 5 and 12). More surprising: my hair is worn up each day. I translate this as: this is Stargirl's simple, go-to, ain't-nobody-got-time-for-that outfit.

I love these pants. And I love black. I've actually worn these trousers more times in the past month than I've worn my purple skinny jeans ever.

I do have kind of a bonus for you today though:

Day 13b: Black button up skirt, "Love" collared tee, black tall socks, black boots.
Tee is from H&M. Skirt is thrifted. Boots and socks are Target. Is this the kind of thing you'd like to know? Where my clothes come from? I see a lot of bloggers do it.

In that case: gray trousers, Dillard's (celebrity pink), black thin knit sweater, thrifted (banana republic), black flats, Rack Room (fabulaire)

I was in a major rush taking these pictures, forgive. KSwiss said he would prefer this tee with skinny jeans, but I wanted to do something differenty.

For the past two week, not including the bonus we have a total of 8 pairs of pants, 19 tops (this includes cardigans and vests), 7 pairs of shoes. Something black was worn on all but one day. Out of the 11 days which I have photographed, hair was worn down on 7 days. This is surprising for me. Although, a good surprise.

There was no duplication in blouses (though vests and cardigans were worn more than once).  But I have, for example, a black linen 3/4 tee, and a black (fitted) 3/4 tee. Doesn't seem necessary. Although the fitted tee is fading. Is it possible to re-dye clothing? That seems light it might be a messy hassle.

Love love love that top with that skirt. And did you say skinny trousers? Not skinny jeans? I'm for the first time noticing this. I could use some skinny trousers for weddings. Where are yours from.

Did you not read? Dillard's, Celebrity Pink here. They are billed as jeans but I've worn them to work and a colleague asked where I got them because they were not denim. My black pair is from TJ Maxx.

Your posts have too many words. You know how I feel about that.

Also, they look like jeans. I shall need further inspection. Bring a pair to the family vaycay.

What if I use a huge font?

Doesn't make me any less lazy, you know.
