I've been seeing green smoothies everywhere and, you guys, there is no way I'm going to buy a bunch of kale and broccoli to make a smoothie. I'd probably forget about the greens and they'd all rot in my fridge.

I bought a tub of berry flavored green superfood powder. Let me tell you, if I knew they made orange dreamsicle flavor, I'd've bought that instead. I'm eager to try the chocolate flavor as well. Blend it with a little peanut butter, mmmmmm. Or Nutella, ohhhh. Probably not super healthy.... Maybe I should skip the chocolate flavor.

My goal: at least one green smoothie each day.

Yesterday was a trial run. I first tried to just mix the green powder with water. YUCK. It was awful. I tossed it in the blender with some vanilla whey protein powder and coconut water powder (it cost less and takes up less space than actual coconut water) along with a handful of ice. It was much better and I repeated the recipe this morning. I still think that I could use some fruit or something else to add a little sweetness. This evening I'll try adding a little splenda.

Other add-in ideas:
*Greek yogurt
*coconut oil

That's all I've got.
