The Colours of Spring

Everywhere you look, the pink and white petals of the sakura litter the ground. Every crevice, every path and walkway, at the edges of stairs and clinging to blades of grass. The float horizontally in today's breeze. The follow in the sucking breeze when a car takes off. It looks like it's snowing in the quad where they are concentrated around the statue of the Virgin and Child.

Every car, black or white, red or blue, is now yellow, coated with a fine dusting of pollen. I, for one, am grateful that I do not have allergies. It might be a nuisance, but it is somewhat lovely.

Every flower has burst forth with delicious colors! The grass is vibrant today.

I love spring!!!

Spring is great! The trees are getting their first buds today. Of course, that means the wasps are awake again, but oh well.
