So Jeff and I were talking last night. He's pretty bummed that I want to stop having sex, but he knows its important to me. And then he asked if we were gonna have problems because he's not Catholic. I said, I don't know. I don't think so. I hope not...

I said, you know, if we have kids, I'm going to want to raise them Catholic. He said we should expose them to other things, too. I said well you're agnostic and Tiffany, so that's two.

Then he said, is it okay if I don't go with you to church.

That hit me pretty hard. I guess I should've realized it, but I didn't. He's gone with me to church before. Maybe that's because it was still in the impress me stage. I pictured myself sitting in church every Sunday; people giving me pitying looks because "Oh, her husband's not Catholic, bless her heart..." and you know what "bless her heart" means. I'm sitting there trying to ignore them... Looking at my fingernails.

Yea, I guess so. I say. That'll kinda suck, but I guess what I'm doing to you right now kinda sucks.

He makes a noise that is both nocommital and affirmative at the same time.

Bow wow... This could be ruff....

I'm just sitting here re-reading old posts. I think this line is funny: "I said well you're agnostic and Tiffany, so that's two."

Because you do not define exactly why I am different and it could be anything.

...well you're agnostic and Tiffany has her crystals, so that's two.

...well you're agnostic and Tiffany is a prostitute, so that's two.

...well you're agnostic and Tiffany is moving to Jonestown, so that's two.

hee-hee. :-)
